Title: A New Member Hello!

Hey, everyone!

While I'm not new to researching my family history, I am new to this forum so I thought this was as good a place as any to come in and introduce myself  ;D  My friend Janet recommended it so here I am!

I live in the United States and had a paternal grandmother with a very long line of English ancestry.  My first English ancestors came to the US in the 1600's mainly by way of Somerset and Dorset counties.  Since I only have the US version of Ancestry.com, I thought this would be a perfect place to research the life of my relatives before they came to the US, plus get to know others who are as interested in genealogy as I am!

Welcome Marcia,

Please don't hesitate to post any requests for help finding out more about your ancestors, I think you will be amazed at helpful and knowledgeable the members on here are - I know I have been helped endlessly and am so appreciative of the generosity of all involved here!
