Title: Thomas MOORE
Post by: KWATTON on Monday 11 February 13 02:36 GMT (UK)
Hi All - I have been trying to locate some birth info for a Thomas James Moore (my great grandfather) the only info i had obtained (other than his death information) was that he was born 29 September 1976 which was obtained from a funeral parlour.  I have since located a possible birth certificate, which is attached.  To me this indicates that this person may have been born in the Adelaide Detention Asylum (it is certified by an officer of this department) - I have been unable to find any details from State Records.  This certificate indicates the mother Mary Jane Moore had a son Thomas Moore to a James Bonner - I think the birthdate is too much of a coincedence(being that it is the same date but a different year) to not be the Thomas Moore that I am looking for - any ideas on how i can confirm if this is the Thomas Moore I am looking for :)

Cheers Kathy
