Hi,
Does anybody know where I can download uk census templates straight into word so I can type on them rather than handwriting them? ???
Cheers.

Hi
Ancestry display them here:
http://www.ancestry.co.uk/charts/ukcensus.aspx
I've not used them so not sure what they're like

PS - they're in Adobe Acrobat but you could probably change them.

Thanks for the reply brevitas.
I've got these forms but I can't put them in word and type on them.I was wondering if there were forms that could be opened in word and typed on.
Cheers.

Take a look here:
http://www.censustools.com/
Use the first drop-down box to select UK Census form.

I'm thinking that it would be fairly easy to design a table template within Word or use Excel and import it.
It would be free as well :D

Look what I've found:

PS - maybe contact John as his link isn't working
Added - it doesn't look as if any of John's links are working and he's not been online since he posted the offer ??? :(

Hi,
Using KGarrad's link as a guide, I think you could make an Excel sheet very quickly, cost nothing. "CensusTools spreadsheets may be freely copied for personal use."

Hi daicamera,
I have just converted one of the census forms from a PDF file to a Word document. Will send you a PM and can forward a copy to you.
