Hi, I have found yet another ancestor burial in Ardwick. I would be very grateful if anyone may be able to look this up for me for cause of death/address or any other information.
Elizabeth Taylor Christened 1844, died 1848.
Her older brother died as an infant and was buried in a communal grave at Ardwick so I suspect the same again. Parents Richard and Martha Taylor.
Thank you.

Elizabeth Taylor
Aged 4
Interment: 19 Mar 1848
Died of Cold & Crup
Address only as Ardwick Manchester
Says it was a family Grave 1020
Officiating Minister James BRADLEY
Ardwick Burial Register do not list the parents.
You haven't given the date of death or quarter, so this is the first one I've come across up to now.

Searched the whole of 1848 and this is the only Elizabeth TAYLOR
So, I think it's the right one.

There was once a Gravestone;
Grave 1020
Named on stone were:
TURNELL James Aged 33yrs died 2nd May 1844
TURNELL Margaret bn 27 Feb 1806 died 2 Sep 1876
TURNELL Elizabeth Kirk Aged 8 mos died 20 Nov 1842
TURNELL Margaret Kirk Aged 7 yrs died 21 Oct 1850
I have seen the Burial Register film for Ardwick and they are in really good order.
Haven't come across a 'Plot Register' for Ardwick, plot registers are great as if they have been
kept up to date and filled in properly they name everyone in the grave.
Many which are not named on the Gravestones.
Cancan :)
