I am not sure if this photo is in fact my Great Grandmothers sister who was born in 1900 and photo could be her around 1919/1920 or if it was infact their mother who died in 1901 aged 26?
Am not entirely sure which period it may be from,

Definitely not the mother....this is either a suffragette suit which lasted from 1910 to about 1915ish, or a brief later resurgence in the early 20s. Very definitely not a pre 1901 fashion.
Poor lady....only 26? :'(

I would guess the photo was taken in about 1911

Just revising my estimate....blouse neckline too low for the early part of the date window. About 1913-1914 or a bit later, or into the 20s.
-
I would say pre WW1

She looks like she could be 20-ish doesn't she.

1913-1915, it has a look of early WWI. But that look could have gone post WWI, 1918/1919.

Thank you all.
I am now convinced this is my grandfathers auth Doris who was born 1900 and not her mother Lucy who died aged 26 in 1901. I thought it more likely to be Doris due to the dress.
Thank you for your help
