Hello my married name is Minchinton and I have been tracing my husbands family tree.
His Granfather is
Archibald George Brien Minchinton Born 1885 St Helier Jersey Channel Islands.
he married Rose Hanna Collins on 5/8/1915 in Kigarah NSW Australia.

His father is George James Minchinton born 19/6/1860 St Helier Channel Islands.
He married Mary Louisa Brien 26/3/1884.
He died in New Zealand in 1914.

His father is John Minchinton born 1823 St Helier Channel Islands.
He married Anne Gallie on 16/Jan/1884 and they had 8 children.

John's parents may be
William Minchinton born 1/6/1778 in Mudford Somerset
I have him listed as Married to Anne Brown

John Minchinton is my 3 x great uncle. His brother Samson (1825-1883 Victoria) is my link.
