(looking more closely I can't see any Elders on the list). There may not have been a headstone. Their death certificates should give you a lot of information if you haven't already purchased them.

David Elder and Ann Calley were my great-great-grandparents. I am not aware of any stone to them in either Cupar parish kirkyard or Cupar cemetery. David Elder was a stone mason, born in Cupar about 1822, the son of Peter Elder and Isabel Watson. Ann Calley was born in Elie in 1817, the daughter of Robert Calley and Janet Paterson.
I hope this helps.

The records may be in the County Buildings Cupar with the Burials Clerk in the Council's Bereavement Services: Tel: 01334 659336 It's easier for them to look up if you have date & place of death.
I've just been in touch with the Burials Clerk in Cupar regarding my Great Grandmother and they were most helpful - they got back to me in a couple of day with the name of the cemetery and the plot number. I'll be going up to Cupar Cemetery in the next few days (hopefully) to try & find where she is. If you get plot information I will try & get a photo for you.

Thanks for the offer. I have been in touch with a family member who can tell me that there is no stone in Cupar.
Good luck with your search
