Title: Hohipaea Ngapuhi (Sophia) and Alexander Mcgregor

I have just started to research into my heritage but cannot find and documents on Hohipaea Ngapuhi and Alexander Mcgregor, Any documentations/information of where they lived and how many children they had to what church they got married would be very helpful

Hi there
If you google her she appears on a family history for the Kennedy family part 2.The photo for her is right at the end and from the caption I assume the couple married in 1880.
There is also an e-mail address for the compiler which may help.

Use the search facility at this site also, these families have been mentioned and looked at by others

I tried to find the threads but couldn't???
May be my confusion with the new layout etc..we have had families and lots of mentions to the McGregor family and marriages to different important iwi around peninsula

My Great Great grandmother was Hohipaea Ngapuhi. I have a list of her descendants
down to today if you would like to have it.

We have been researching these people for 28 years and have not been able to find definitively where Hohi came from.We do know a lot about Hohi and Alexander so would welcome reply to k.d.read@clear.net.nz
