My relative William Sutton appears on an 1871 census age 4, living with his parents in Dagenham.
I have his 1881census details, he married in Nov 1889 and i have his 1891 census and his 1901 census with his wife Louie Sutton. Louie Sutton dies in 1902 age 35 in Romford.
My Grandmother told me that he (her grandad) remarried and had lots more children, however i do not have any information about this.
Can anyone find for me marriage of William Sutton in Dagenham area after 1902?

too many candidates in Essex Districts like Romford, Edmonton, West Ham etc.
Really need something unique to pin it down - frinstance any childrens names - that way we could see a Mother's maiden name in the Births Index, and thus work back to a Sutton marriage ....

Louie Sutton Wife 32----------i know she dies in 1902

James R Suton age 3 b essex chadwell heath

Census give his place of birth as Chadwell Heath. If he remarried it was after the end of March 1911 ;)

I see from his first marriage that there is no middle name. There are 2 marriages in Romford district with husband William, one spouse surname is Bones the other Andrews.
There are 6 children showing to the Bones marriage on freebmd, you can look at them by selecting births after 1911 Romford reg district Surname Sutton, mothers maiden name Bones. They may ring a bell. ;)

There is a marriage of William Sutton to Louisa A Bones -
q2 1913, Romford Vol 4a Page 735
The census for William are within the Registration District of Romford therefore the above could be a possibility. However the purchase of the marriage certificate is the only way to actually find out if this is the William you are researching
The Sutton/Bone marriage produce 6 children.

well, as said, he's 45 in 1911 and unmarried in Chadwell .....

Do you know when/where he died- the death cert may name an informant who might give you a clue? Was there an obituary,that may say father of/husband of ...etc etc .
Does he appear on anyone's wedding photo with a lady that people can't name?
Did he leave a will and mention other children?

Thank you Marg, Carol, JJ and Lostris for your help with this. My Nan and all her siblings have now passed away so I dont think i shall be able to find any more out from the family. Can anyone see his children on 1911 especially James would only be 13 and Elizabeth 15?? Are they with their father?

Yes, both there - and the family all with their Grandma.
