Robert Graham was born in Nova Scotia c1836 He was a Saddle and harness maker. He came to SA before 1856 when he married Catharina van der Kemp in Uitenhage. Their children were Robert Graham; Diderik (Dirk or Dick) Graham; Clement Graham; William Graham; Theodorus Graham; Susan Graham; Margaret Graham and Charles Graham.
Robert died in 1881 in Kimberley hospital as a prisoner... :o
Catharina was the granddaughter of controversial missionary Johannes Theodorus van der Kemp.
Dirk/Dick may have been the D.Graham involved with the smelting of gold for the Veldpond at Pilgrims rest.
I am descended from Charles Graham, and would love to make contact with my cousins...
Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I found this today :) .. according to https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.2.1/9NT2-5W3
Their daughter Margaret Angela Graham died in the Belgian Congo in c1940
I wonder what she was doing there in 1940? and I wonder if any records exist for the Belgian Congo... and if so how would one access them??

Have you tried approaching the Belgium authorities? They should have records unless they have been destroyed. There appears to be a Belgium forum on Rootschat, try them as well.
