Lovely thought - but both FindMyPast and scotlandspeople sites say not valid anymore ???
-
Its nothing to do with Scotlands People. The 125 credits came through for me and also Braindead ?
Did you try to do it through the links ?
Sandra
-
Lovely thought - but both FindMyPast and scotlandspeople sites say not valid anymore ???
It did say that for me, but it still allowed me to redeem the codes.
-
Hi Sandra
very many thanks i've now got 100 credits, I couldn't load the Daily mail page it kept coming up error but I expect thats cos I did that one before!
Thanks again
John
-
You obviously can't claim twice on the same e-mail address - it was working earlier - so not sure why it won't now ??? Perhaps it will come back again - will check tomorrow.

Sandra
I haven't made any prior claim off that newspaper site. My first thought was that all the credits that they'd bought had been claimed.

To use the Daily Mail offer, start by registering at http://findmypast.dailymail.co.uk. You are allowed one registration per email address. Then use this same link to enter any 20 passwords in any order. Sandra has listed 20, but the other possibilities are:
farm
grandmother
great
record
scandal
separation
After each set of 10 passwords you are given a code for FindMyPast. To redeem your two codes log in at www.findmypast.co.uk then go to 'Activate voucher' (www.findmypast.co.uk/VoucherRedemptionServlet). There is no limit to how many vouchers can be redeemed on one FindMyPast account.
You may also be given a code for Scotland's People but it is too late to redeem these.
-
To sum up, the current codes for FindMyPast appear to be:
LCXMASFREE
SNOWMAN
DISPCRED
WDYTYA (expires 31 January 2013)
TVOFFER (expires 2 February 2013)
FMPTV2 (expires 19 February 2013)
I don't know if the first two are still valid. These are completely separate to the Daily Mail offer and are entered at:
https://www.findmypast.co.uk/account/pay/special

With further advice now have 150 credits - much appreciated...... :-* :-*
-
Hello RootsChat Members,
Special Thanks to Dave and Sandra, much appreciated.
It would appear that the Daily Mail credits, are meant mainly for UK Members, as there is no place to enter other countries.
However we are very happy with what we have received, a valuable 'Bonus'.
Thank you to all who have alerted us to the various available Credits at 'Findmypast', over the past couple of months.
Jeanette H.
-
Hi Jeanette,
You're very welcome, pleased to hear you managed to get a few more credits. FindMyPast is not a site I have used before, usually stick to the other one but somehow have accumulated 415 credits so far (on one e-mail address) - might be looking for a deserving cause to give them away before April ;D
The link is now fixed so hope more people will enjoy some freebies. ;D
Cheers
Sandra
-
Thank you Sandra ;D
-
Also try DISPCRED and you will get another 20 credits.
Sandra ;D
Can't get this one to work.
Waiting on email for the dm ones. thanks :) :)
-
The DISPCRED one just worked for me. Love a freebie! ;D
-
Oh, I'll try it again. Still haven't had an email from the daily mail.
Still didn't work for dispcred, said it had expired.
-
All of the codes worked for me in NZ ;D Now I have over 200 credits. Thanks everyone.
-
Oh, I'll try it again. Still haven't had an email from the daily mail.
Once you have entered enough passwords at http://findmypast.dailymail.co.uk the codes should appear immediately on the same screen. If you log in there you should have two codes for FindMyPast and a message 'There are no more passwords to enter!'. If not then there will still be a box for entering passwords.
-
All of the codes worked for me in NZ ;D
And me too in Australia. In the country box I just put UK. I used a valid .com.au email address. :)

Yes it does AChesters, but you have to say you live in the UK on their pull down location menu. ;) An Australian email address with the UK location still seems to work. Good luck.
