Title: Identify cap badge - uniform
Post by: bev256g on Sunday 13 January 13 18:18 GMT (UK)
Hi
Can anyone recognise my Grandad's cap badge?  Donald Fredrick Farrow fought in WW2 and we think he was an engineer, he survived the war only to die in an accident at a local colliery.  I would like to find out more about his army career, any help would be appreciated.

It looks like the Argyll and Sutherlands' cap badge to me, although it is out of focus.

Thanks for the information, in one way it confirms some information that was a bit sketchy.  I had heard a family member mention that they thought he was an engineer and was in Gibraltar, carving out the rock!!!!!  Not sure about the rock story.  I'm going to try and send for his service records.

Thanks again
Bev
