Title: William Henry Jones birth 1885 approx

Hi,
I have Williams marriage cert.
Married Beatrice Amelia Stratford on 28.11.1925.
He was age 40 she 24. Marriage cert lists him as widower.
He living at 11 Ruth Street Bargoed and her 2 Railway cottages, Aberbargoed.
His father name William Jones, deceased, Farm Labourer.
William and Beatrice had 11-13 children.

Struggling to make any further headway with census to track down his birth cert/ brothers/sisters.

Any help appreciated , thank you

Do you know if he had any children from his first marriage?  If you know their names you could check freebmd for their births as their mothers maiden name would be shown against the entry if born in or after the September qtr 1911

That would help find his first marriage

If he married before 1911 - you can then find him on the 1911 census to get his birthplace

Hi Carole,
Thank you, we didn't know anything about a previous marriage, his age or that he was a widower so no children to go on. My only thought is to check everybody in the 1911 census and hope for an address match.
