To access something (it may be B.M.D. chits) but I'm not sure. If it is, could someone tell me how I go about it?
If you are kind enough to reply with instructions, please read before posting and make sure the instructions make sense. :o
Cheers, Tony.

What have you paid half price for?
Do you know about freebmd, for births, marriages, deaths? Although it's only up to the 1960s just yet.
-
Does this mean anything to you !
Thank you for your recent purchase using the Plimus.com Online Store, authorized seller of MyHeritage Ltd
If you start off on the understanding "I know Nothing" just as Manuel in Fawlty Towels, you won't go far wrong!
Cheers, Tony.

You appear to have subscribed to MyHeritage and paid via Plimus.com.

I can't work out what you've paid for. My Heritage is a free site. Although it seems to have a subscription cost if you want to build a tree bigger than 250 people. But there's plenty of free tree builders about.

My Heritage is a free site.
The BMD data is not free, you have to take out an annual subscription to access the historical records, or you can take out a limited subscription for 180 days.

Thankyou Stan. It's only what I looked up on the internet, which seemed to suggest it was free. It's not site I have ever used. mmm

Is it any different to the BMD data on FreeBMD?

They say they have England & Wales Births, GRO Indexes, 1911 - 1954

So not even as good as FreeBMD ???

Under the Long Distance Selling Regulations, you should be able to cancel within 7 working days.
-
According to some reviews I have read on the interweb, they seem VERY reluctant to cancel credit card payments?! ::)
Quite a few complaints about memberships/subscriptions being renewed regardless?
-
So it looks as though it may turn out to be, in a phrase from over the pond a Turkey!
Cheers, Tony.

I'm flaberghasted and astounded by the amount of information forthcoming from the kind people on this website. I'm going to have to go out and buy a roll of lining paper and construct some sort of hanging device in the spare bedroom to put all this 'gen into place.
I've tried constructing a tree on 'the mighty computer' but I think good ol' pencil and paper may be the way forward.
Thanks and Cheers, Tony.

There is plenty of software available, where you can create a family tree, some of it free!
Look at the Technical Help forum:

Personally, I paid for RootsMagic4, and also store my tree on Ancestry (for which I have a subscription), and used to store it on GenesReunited (don't have a sub any more!).

Legacy is free and very good too.
