Title: mary buckley. help required please
Post by: dbee7 on Tuesday 18 December 12 01:31 GMT (UK)
Hello,

Mary Buckley married William Johnson in March 1775, I believe in Denton Parish, Sussex. I have been unable to find any children that William & Mary may have had or anything about Mary's family who I believe were from Denton. Any help would be much appreciated.

David.

Neither SFHG or IGI have any likely Johnsons in the Denton-Newhaven area that look to fit, so it could be that the couple were childless.  There are however, a few people on Genes Reunited that have an interest in Johnsons and Buckleys that lived there about then.  Several have a Mary Johnson born Denton c 1779 in their ancestries and one has a Mary Buckley born Denton c 1760.  Roy G

Hello and many thanks for your reply Roy, I shall have a look into Genes Reunited, it sounds as if it might be really useful, here's hoping.
