Title: Looking for Richard Ryland, born c. 1770

Hi

I am trying to find the baptism of Richard Ryland, born c. 1770 (per the 1841 census and his death certificate).

I already have his marriage record and his death certificate.

He lived in Gloucester (city), and the census shows he was born in the county of Gloucestershire.

I have been to Gloucester Records Office but cannot find his baptism.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Richard RILAND christened 22 August 1779 Northleach Gloucester. Parents: John Riland and Margaret.

Thanks, Claire, but the one I am looking for was born in either 1769 or 1770, so I don't think it's him.  But thanks for the suggestion.
