Hi
I am trying to find out more about Kathleen, I have found a Civil Marriage Record for 1 Oct 1912, when she married my great grandfather William Manners Johnson.
Unfortunately it doesn't confirm her birth date, and it lists her father Francis as being deceased, again no dates.
There is also a Mary Ann Curran listed as a witness, I don't know whether this is Kathleen's mother, sister, cousin or whoever?
Are you able to find anything else about Kathleen or her immediate family please?
I live in South Australia so it is a little difficult to search from here
Warm Regards from a very hot (38 degrees today), Adelaide, South Australia

Hi,
You can find what appears to be the family in the 1901 and 1911 census. They are in Chapelhill Townland, Cookstown rural DED and Co. Tyrone. It appears that the mother has remarried

Hi,
I missed the link for 1911. See http://www.rootschat.com/links/0sj1/
I also found that Kathleen and William married in Derryloran Church of Ireland on 1 Oct 1912. Her mother's second marriage also took place in this church in 1 Jan 1901.

Hi,
This may be the mother's first marriage. 18 Nov 1875 Francis Curran married Sarah Mulholland in Derryloran Church of Ireland. The Civil Registration Index shows a death of a Francis Curran was registered in Cookstown between Jan- Mar 1894. He was aged about 40 years. A parent search on the Familysearch site (only goes up to 1880) shows two children, Mary Ann born 26 Dec 1876 and Matilda born 12 May 1880. Matilda was born in the townland of Ballygroogan in the parish of Derryloran.

Hi
Wow, Thank you so much, such a quick response
I had last night, after posting this thread, purely by accident come across the family you mentioned in the 1911 Irish census and in the 1901 census.
The dates for the marriages are great, and you have confirmed everything I had found so far.
WAde82 - the only one I have come across is a daughter of the family above, Mary Ann b 1876
Merry Christmas to you both

Hi Kingskerswell
Question? Does the marriage for Francis Curran & Sarah Ann Mulholland have their parents names listed by any chance?
And the marriage between Sarah Ann Curran & John Watters, does that mention his parents?
Cheers

Irish marriage certificates only list the fathers' names (and their occupations)- will be on the actual marriage certificate.
