Im looking for the marriage of a Henry Davis who was a cigar maker in london and a leah abrahams, also possibly born in london. according to the 1911 census they should have been married about 1875, but unable to find it anywhere. They had a daughet Alice Davis married to a Thomas French.

:) I realise that, but showing the returns gives clues to when/where the children were born etc so the c 1875 marriage would look right, that is if they ever did?!

Just a thought, but is it possible that Henry changed his surname between 1877-1881. Reason for this is the marriage of a Henry Solomons/Leah Abrahams March q 1877 london city 1c 138. Cannot see a Henry/Leah Solomons on the 1881 census unless one of them died!
