Title: Parents of Gertrude Lilly Dowdeswell help please
Post by: linefinder on Tuesday 04 December 12 16:37 GMT (UK)
Can anyone help me find the parents of Gertrude Lilly Dowdeswell.  Born Brecon in 1876 she is shown as a visitor with Thomas and Elizabeth Lawson in Hereford in 1881 then back in Brecon in 1891.  In 1900 she married Frank George Perkins and was living in Brecon in 1901.  But who were here mother and father?

Thank you Mabel for your interest the Dowdaswell’s you show are a different family note the a after the second d instead of an e.  This group appear with this spelling in 1881 1891 and 1901.  They had me running around all over the place when I started researching my Dowdeswell’s because on some listings the two families are mixed together.  Gertrude Lily was in Hereford as a visitor in 1881.  I think gortonboy might have it.  This would mean I have just lost a ggAunt.  Thank you both for taking the time trying to solve this one for me.
