Hi,
Thomas Jones married an Ellen Jones at St Peblig, Llanbeblig, Caernarvon in mid 1868.
If I have the right family, I think Thomas was from Llanystmdwy, Caernarvon and Ellen from Newborough, Anglesey.
I wondered if anyone had access to the church records and could let me know some additional details. I am looking to find the date of marriage, their parents names and the names of the witnesses.
I think after marriage they lived at Coed Marian Farm, Llanbeblig
Many thanks

Hi Alan,
Family Search has the marriage of Thomas Jones (age 28) to Ellen Jones 3 April 1868, Llanbeblig.
Unfortunately there is no other info.

Do you have them on the 1871 census ?

If the 3rd April marriage is the correct one, Thomas, 28, was a widower farmer from Bwlch in the parish of Pystill - father Evan Jones, a farmer.
Ellen, 27, was a spinster from Coed y Marion, Llanbeblig - father Richard Jones, a farmer.
Witnesses - Evan and Elizabeth Jones.
The marriage was by licence.
Regards,
David

Hi,
Thank you all so much for your quick response -
I have the family on the 1871 census at Coed Marian with their children Evan and Catherine, which seems to tie in.
When the marriage took place do you happen to know if the records show Ellen's occupation?

Hi All,
Having researched this a bit more and armed with the details shown, it turns out that is is not the correct family I was seeking - there are too many Jones's in North Wales!!
Thank you all for your input.

Hello all :)
Many years too late I assume but I am busy researching Jones at Coed y Marian from quite a few years earlier in the form of John Jones d. 1812 and his wife Grace. They had a son John... no dates on when John and Grace were married or when John jr. was born.
Your information is quite helpful as I will try and trace back through the decades.
Diolch!
