Title: James Hext - b.+/- 1777 Widecombe

I am trying to verify the parentage of a James Hext - I have him on the 1851 census aged 74, born in Widecombe-in-the-Moor and I know he married Elizabeth French on 17 June 1813 in Widecombe but no trace of his baptism - can anyone help me to find who his parents were?

I can add that James & Elizabeth had 10 children between 1814-1832 all baptised in Widecombe
