I have a couple of people who have lived in Mile End Old Town for the majority of the Census's. I am struggling to find their deaths. From past experience I would have thought the registration district would have been Stepney but can find nothing that fits. Camberwell district has thrown up a couple of possibilities but I'm not too familiar with the geography of area so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to the "next" nearest reg district? I realise they could have moved but were aged 55 & 56 in 1911....... ?

Hi
Tower Hamlets the registration district since 1983 has a time line on its website that shows the registration districts and their dates including Stepney which were all adjacent and are now joined together as Tower Hamlets.

Camberwell registration district is south of the river Thames. Stepney was north of the river Thames but both to the east. If they moved later in life they could have died away from the East End of London.
