Is anyone able to check whether there is an MI for a Hardyman or Hardiman Nelson buried in Silsden on 5th November 1898 please?
Many thanks.

Only just seen this, will check in the local studies library at keighley tomorrow for you

Hi Judith
I am afraid there is no memorial for Hardiman* Nelson recorded The MIs of St James Silsden were recorded some time ago. He is listed as being buried in their records. I also checked the copy of the parish register which is on fiche at the library, to see if there was any mention of pauper's grave etc. but nothing recorded. The death is not mentioned in the local paper (Keighley News) either. The local FHS has indexed death entries from the paper.
I found an entry for a Robina Nelson who died in the 1920s , if that is one of yours I can let you have a copy.
Sorry cant find anything else but don't hesitate to come back to me if you want me to look elsewhere.
Sylvia
* that is how it is spelled in the parish register
