Thanks for the reply's
Yes I have studied records of other Baskerfields, but nothing to tie them with Lydia.
As I cant find any birth for her in Cheshire I am now looking into either her or both parties in the marriage coming from other parts of the country.

Daniel Baskervyle and Esther Hough are of my line. (There son David)

An interesting fact can be found at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/i.c.pidgeon/Genealogy/PIDGEON/Agreement%201764.htm

Article shows Lydia Keen as David Baskervyle's sister.

I have now read the pre-marital agreement and I am happy that the details in the agreement confirm details in my tree to be correct.
My line is through Lydia and Richard Keen.
I have been unable to find details before the Daniel Baskervyle -Esther Hough Marriage, other than Daniel was probably the illegitimate son of Margaret Baskervyle.

I am so glad that I could help. I only wish I had noticed your query earlier.

Usually, when I check for information on my line, it is normally just for "Baskerville". This time I checked for Baskervyle, and  Hough.

Have you been able to trace our Daniel Baskervyle and Esther Hough lines further back.
I have nothing, only that Daniel was most likely the illegitimate son of Margaret Baskervyle.
              regards Barry

That is exactly what I figured as well, because of the date of 1696, as that would have made him around 25 years of age when he married Esther. Also, his second daughter was named Margrit. If I were to guess, I would say that Esther's mothers name could have been Elizabeth, as she seems to be the first daughter, and if you go by naming patterns, that would be about right.
