Hi all
I have William Facy on my tree. He was born at Egloskerry in 1816, son of William and Elizabeth, nee Jolliffe. He married in 1839 to Mary Parnell of Trewen and had two daughters, Jane & Elizabeth. He appears to have died between 1845 and 1851 (cannot locate on 1851 census) and his widow remarried in 1860. I guess he died in the general Egloskerry area, but I cannot locate a death or burial.
Can anyone assist?
Many thanks
Stuart

I notice on the 1841 census that Williams occupation was Mill Wright, I wonder if that involved a degree of travel, there are a number of deaths in Devon 1841-1851, one in particular in 1849 at Stoke Damerel, just over the Border from Cornwall. Only problem is they are all spelt Facey.
Just a thought.

Cheers Colin
Always a thought, at least one of his daughters is spelt Facey on the 1861 census.

Have you tried www.familysearch.org? It's a free website and has lots of parish records (although not all).
Good luck.
