Title: Possible restoration request, family tragedy.
Post by: Maccahc on Saturday 17 November 12 23:48 GMT (UK)
Hi , one of my younger cousins was found dead last week, post mortem is on Monday.

His family are obviously grief stricken at this time as it seems circumstances were fairly tragic, he was only 41.

I have been trying to restore this, the only photo they have of him and his sister as young kids, in Lightroom 4 but am nether skilled enough nor do I think LR is capable of a good restore due to the damage.

Does anyone have the skills to tackle this one, if so many thanks in advance... (from my flickr)

Thank you all very much, these are lovely and way better than I could muster. I`m fairly new to LRoom and have mastered some basic stuff, black and white conversions, RAW conversions (still fiddling a lot with these) etc. but the cloning tool and brush are taking longer! The wallpaper was tricky but the sofa even more so due to the pattern.

I have returned the copy of the originals today to my Uncle and cousin and will get these printed for them, there`s a feeling of helplessness at times like this, thanks again for helping me help them even just a little, they will appreciate this I know.
