Why can't I find Ferryquay Street on the 1911 Census? In 1901 it is in No.3 Urban district.

Hi,
Try entering Ferry Quay.

No luck - only get Ferry Quay Street in Coleraine, not Londonderry. People from this street signed the Covenant in 1912, so it appears to be missing in 1911!

Hi,
Who is it you are after? I have other lists they may [men] be on if they signed the Covenant.

The missing bits are explained on the census website- scroll down to last paragraph:

Thanks Aghadowey and rob. They would have been RC and therefore I can't find them on the Covenant either.
I am looking for Patrick Breslin, Tobacconist who is on the 1901 census in Ferryquay Street.

I had the same hassle, I have a relative missing from the 1911 census. How ever someone with the same name pops up on the Covenant and gives Ferryquay street as his address.
Same person? who knows ??? ???

I think we will just have to be patient and wait until the missing streets come to light. Ferryquay Street was, I believe a very commercial street, and my Patrick Breslin was a tobacconist, J.P. etc.so I found him on the 1910 Derry Directory.
