Hi
Trying to find out the parents of Henry PAGET born abt 1805 in Duntisborne Leer.
If anyone can perform a look up of the parish records it would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Gloucestershire have loads of records on line and I think you will find what you need there. Also look at the Gloucestrshire board on roots.Free Reg might also have the record you want.

Thanks a lot Trish
I did already have those. I have everything else, marriage, censuses, death. Just can't find the elusive parents!

Ah well, worth posting in case someone else googles the Family ;D
Hopefully someone comes up with info for you.
A Francis Paget married 1785 in Duntisbourne Abbots and a Abraham Paget 1788 in Duntisbourne Rous.
(FreeREG)
As Henry doesnt name Sons Francis or Abraham to me it is unlikely that either is the Marriage of his Parents.
Have you seen the actual Parish Record of the Marriage of Henry/Sarah?
If not a look-up may provide Witnesses names that may help.

Ummmmm no, is the short answer!
I have it recorded in my tree as an "LDS Member Submitted Form". And now I can't even find that again!
The date I have is 03/04/1831.
So if anyone is willing to do a look up for that as well, it would be great

Wevvisited Duntisbourne Leer whilst researching husbands family. It was wet and we were looking at the graves. To make things easier we contacted the church warden who came along with the plan of churchyard.Do you think if you write ti the church they would help you.

Source: Glos Archives (GA) PMF 122 (Bishops Transcript)
September 30th, 1804, Henry son of Thomas & Mary PAGET baptised at St Peter, Duntisbourne Abbotts.
NB: Abraham PADGET m. Elizabeth SHORT 1781 @ St Peter, Duntisbourne Abbotts.
Interestingly Duntisbourne Leer (or Lire in Domesday Book) (so called from the Abbey of Notre Dame de Lire in Normandy, which anciently owned lands here) is a tithing a quarter of a mile south-east of Duntisbourne Abbotts.
NB: A Thomas PAGETT m. Mary ANDREWS @ Great Witley, Worcs, December 18th, 1797. Possibly yours as PAGETT is a common surname in Worcs and it's next door to Glos.

Thanks heaps Victor :)
Are those records something I can get a look at online or did you look them up on fiche for me?

These records are not available, as far as I know, on-line and have been transcribed from a microfiche at Glos Archives (GA).
