Here is a pic of great grandad charles steane. Can anyone help with repairs to this battered piccy? He was killed in 1st world war. Also a rough date from anyone?

He seems to be wearing the long collar which was replaced by a shorter collar just before the war, so about 1910ish, give or take a couple of years.
