Title: Medal Rolls Index Card - LS & GEM AD 368
Post by: Elliott2 on Saturday 10 November 12 11:48 GMT (UK)
Hi
I would be obliged if anyone can tell me what this means:
under the Medals section: LS & GEM AD 368 of 1926.
And: GOC Aldershot frods[?] lists ap[?] 23-7-1926

It is on a Medal Rolls Index Card. I'm not sure if the remarks refer to this entry but they say - LS & GEM AD 368 of 1926 - Remarks: 22961 of AG10
The Index Card confirms he served in the Asiatic Theatre of War from 1915 and he was also awarded the India General Service Medal with AFGN (Afghanistan) NWFF (North West Frontier Force) Clasp 1919 (another topic on this website told me what that one was).

In case it assists, it is the Index Card for Herbert GILES who served with the Royal Sussex Regiment as a Private.
Thanks
June
