I've been asked by a restorer whether I could post more photos as the board is slow.
Sorry this is so dirty. I would like to have a clean and tidy as is and if anyone would like to colour too that's fine.

hi
here one from me

Hi Rapunzel
Here is my version.
Just so people know, I was the one that requested Rapunzel to post further restores as I logged on yesterday and there wasn't a single restore that didn't already have several postings, and when you consider the owners will probably only download one or two versions, I don't see the point in adding to the pile.
I have asked Rapunzel to continue to post her fabulous photos while keeping an eye on the number of other postings, to ensure no one feels neglected, or the restorers are unable to cope.
It would be a travesty if beautiful photos like this one were not on display for everyone to see.
Regards
Caroline

Rapunzel - you certainly have some fabulous photos and this little darling is currently occupying my full attention.
By the way I registered as a volunteer yesterday for Irene's 'Flood Damaged' photo scheme and have received a photo from them to restore in order to gauge my ability and I would imagine my commitment. They suggested it would take me up to a week to do. :o
No problem there but it is absolutely covered with miniscule spots, blobs and great swathes of miscoloured areas - a real challenge. I started it last night but I have been diverted away from it today by Rapunzel. ;D ;D ;D

Isn't she beautiful Maggie... :o :o

I don't know where to begin with thanks for all these wonderful restores! All variations are such good work and all will be downloaded by me! I share my photos with others in my family - same with my research on the various trees I've got - so there will be several happy bunnies this weekend.
She is a little beauty made more so by all of you, many, many thanks!
Can anyone say what that decoration/addition to her dress is on the left side of the photo (her right side)? It seems rather elaborate for such a tiny tot.
Her name was Jannet (Janet, Jean, Jessie).
Rapunzel :) :) :) :) :) :)

She's lovely - thank you Jim. Can you tell me what the thing on her dress is?
Rapunzel :)

It's a tassely thing.

Roy, thank you for both versions, great work.
Rapunzel :)

Is it something which was common Jim? I've never seen one before (at least in my family photos).

Victorians liked to dress up their children in big flounces, bows & frills.I've seen sashes & ribbons. One up on the neighbours kids I think with this though.

I thought it was a rattle attached to her sash...or tinsel and a Christmas bauble ;D

to me it looks like a bag with tassles at the bottom and clipped to the sleeve of the dress
-
I had a go too.

Wow Carol they are fantastic. I like both versions, thank you very much.
Thanks to all of you for your comments on whatever she's got attached to her dress. I'm glad I wasn't a child then!
