I am trying to  get a  birth certificate for Ann Tobin she was born june 1876  her parents were michael and mary Ann Tobin and they lived in Widnes but I cant seem to get any information,can anyone help

Hi,
Do you have the right detail? FreeBMD lists just one Ann TOBIN born 1876 Liverpool 8b 52 Dec Qtr. Widnes is close to Liverpool.

Hi your Ann Tobin, marries a James Glynn b c 1875 Warrington in June 1903 Prescot 8b 1186 is that correct?

Thanks for that  yes ann tobin did marry james glynn but it is her birth certificate  I am trying to find.

Hi,

It`s not looking as though she was registered as a birth in Widnes should come under Prescot registration district.   I can`t find one for her sister Catherine either.  Only brother Michael appears to be listed in the September Quarter 1874 (I haven`t looked for James).

Thank you,  as far as i know she was born in widnes, maybe i should try the Liverpool record office when it re opens.

aged 4
Annie Tobin born 1877 in Widnes

Michael Tobin aged 44 b Ireland
Mary Ann Tobin aged 42 b St Helens
Michael Tobin aged 6 b Widnes
Catherine Tobin aged 0 b Widnes

Old Marsh , Widnes

so should we be looking for an ANNIE Tobin b 1877 in Widnes ??

Michael and Mary Ann Mahon are not the family,the 1881 census is the right one,with everyones help last night i am thinking Ann Tobin born in Widnes but registered in Liverpool  8b 52 is the right one, so hoping to go to liverpool at the weekend to check it out.
