Would any one be able to give me any information on the pre/ww1 service record of Corporal Adam Humphrey, 7795, 1st Batallion King's own Scottish Borderers? I know that he was killed on 17/8/1917 and is buried in Cement House Cemetery, Belgium. I was advised that because it is an early service number, he may have been in the army before WW1. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks
