Hi
I am hoping someone can help me find out a bit more about Thomas Harry Stanley Hitchin born 1902.
I have his medal roll details for Long Service and Good Conduct which give his number as M39835 and rank as RPO (think this is military police?).
I would appreciate any insight or pointers as to where to find out when he joined up and about his service. I have tried the national archives online with no luck - but then I never seem to find much on there as it is a bit confusing for me!
Many thanks
Midmum :)

Think his record will still be with MOD archives if he served ww2?
You can apply for copy via Veterans Service website
RPO Regulator Petty Officer as you say Policed the Ships Coy or Shore Base
