Lucy (nee Bull) and John were born in England and moved to Jersey between 1892 and 1895. It would be good to know what happened to them after 1911.
They had 5 children - 3 girls and 2 boys. The boys returned to England and we've been able to trace their descendents (of which I'm one). But I'd like to know what happened to the girls. In 1911 in Jersey there was:
* Lucy Elizabeth (25) a miliners assistant - we think she later married a Norman Allen
* Rosanna Mary (22)(already married to a Robert Henry Andrews who was 28 years older than her)
* Dora Elenor (16) a student. She later married into the Le Vavasseur dit Durrel family and had 2 sons - one who died young. Martin is the name of the other son.
Any further details on any of these people would be greatly welcome.

Hi, I've found the Andrews family living at Rockholme, Pontac, St. Clement. To view this information go to www.jerseyheritage.org click on Research Centre/Heritage Collections/Search and in the search engine type in Rockholme etc. I haven't been able to find other family members but you never know what you might be able to find.
Sorry I can't be of anymore help

Hi there. I am looking for information for John Miles who died in 1828. I assume that he was from England or Ireland. Do you have any more info that I may look into please?

Hello, I'm interested to find out more about John Miles and Lucy Matilda Bull - I am the grandson of their grandson. My grandfather was Martin Geoffrey Le Vavasseur dit Durell, and his parents were Clarence William Le Vavasseur dit Durell and Dora Eleanor Miles. My grandfather is buried in La Croix cemetery in Grouville, Jersey and we think his parents may be buried in St. Helier Green Street cemetery. Most of those gravestones are quite indecipherable and I'm curious to know if you know if Dora Eleanor Miles's parents were buried there as well?
Many thanks!
Edward

Clarence William Dupré Le V dit Durell and his wife Dora were both buried in Green Street, plot 236.
Others buried in the same grave are Herbert Le V dit Durell and Violet Florence Le V dit Durell.
John Miles and Lucy were buried in Mont a l'Abbe, block N, plot 90
Just John and Lucy are buried there.
