Electoral rolls:

1856 Geelong
JOsiah WINDMILL, laborer, Turners Place, Geelong
William WINDMILL, laborer, Germantown Geelong

1903
Margaret WINDMILL, Flemington
Richard WINDMILL, Flemington
Samuel WINDMILL, Colac
Maria WINDMILL, Colac.

Later ones all seem to be in Ascot Vale, Corio and Colac area.  Do you have any in particular you are interested in?

Hi Judb, and cupoflife.  I am stunned by your quick replies, especially the long list from Victoria.   My main aim is to contact a Wendy Windmill of Victoria Australia, following on from an email in Rootsweb in 2001(I know it's a long while ago now) where she said that she was tracing her husband's family of Richard Windmill bp 1773 at St Thomas Pensford Somerset.  Who was also my GGG Grandfather.   I know it's a very long shot,  but it would be good to get in touch with her or maybe someone in her family.   Many thanks for your replies.    Byegeorge

Using the PM system, a successful outcome has been achieved, connecting RC ‘byegeorge’ to the Windmill family in Australia… a very happy result.

Cheers :)
