Can anyone help me find the cause of death for Joseph Anthony McNally, from Orpington, died in 1988 aged approx 45 years of age?

You will have to get a copy of the death certificate to find out the cause of death. See https://www.gov.uk/order-copy-birth-death-marriage-certificate

Hi, the death was registered 4Th of April 1988,
vol - 16
page - 1877
I think you will need that information if you were to order a death certificate.
