Hi

I am interested in communicating with any one who has John Aubrey Conway Howarth born 1896 in their family tree.  John (Jack) played Albert Tatlock in Coronation Street.  Older members of my family have bragged that he was some how related but I have yet to find out how.  I am aware that a member of rootschat (member 47813) called Jonathan has also mentioned the same.

Does anyone out there have John Aubrey Conway Howarth in their family tree?  Any comments?

John Aubreys Parents were RICHARD Howarth (1869-1923) and Amelia TOWNSEND (1874-1952) who Married 1894.

Richards Parents were Richard HOWARTH (1840) and Elizabeth WHATMOUGH (1841).

So depending how far back you have gone with your Howarths they may intersect somewhere.

My ancestors were Harry Howarth b. 1883 (brother John Robert b. 1881)

Harry's father was James b 1857 (brothers John b.1865 and Robert b. 1855)

James's father was John b 1828 (brother Robert b. 1825)

John's father was John (a weaver) b about 1800 who married Mary Standring (b. 1800) on 21st March 1823. 

No Richards. Can't see any connection so far, so maybe just a bit of family bragging.

Thanks for that Suz, so it is still possible for us to be related. 

Maybe Richard Howarth, aged 69 in this census record born, 1802, was a brother to my ancestor John Howarth born 1798.   I don't know if John had siblings but it is possible.

Christened 25 December 1798 St Chad's Rochdale to Robert and Mary (nee Holt) (but not certain of this parentage)
Married 21st March 1823 to Mary Standring b 1800 at St Chad's Rochdale
Children
Anne christened 1823 St Chad's

I was very interested in John Aubrey Conway Howarth. I have three generations in my family tree with the second name Conway all Dowdeswell's. I have not come across any other Conway's until your post and thought it must be a family name. If any others come to light I would love to hear about them.
