Does any have access to Rillington marriage registers? I am looking for the marriage of a Sarah North to William Mook , shown on familysearch.org (BTs) as Rillington 23 May 1818. William (a farmer) was born Rillington & Sarah was born Butterwick, bap in Barton Le Street N. Yorks. I have census records for them but am interested in any marriage information.
Any help appreciated

This doesn't help you with this particular enquiry, but did you know that the parish registers of Rillington, 1638 - 1812, are available online at American Libraries? http://archive.org/details/parishregisterso117rill
There are a lot of Mook / Mooke references.

From the Rillington Parish registers on the LDS Microfilm #1068393. Item 13 Marriages1815-1837 page 7 item 19. Married by banns the 23 May 1818 by Edward Day, Curate in the presence of James Pickering and Charles Oveton. It appears they all signed the register. No other information is given.
Hope this helps

Not many of us interested in Mook. I have William and Sarah in my line too, so interested to hear what your connections are. Mine is via William's cousin Susannah MOOK, bp 1783 at Rillington.
I have 4 children noted for William and Sara; Elizabeth, Ann, George & Mary

Hi there
My Mook connection is only via the marriage to Sarah North and if I have the line right (and there is one question mark in it which remains to be proved!) Sarah would be my cousin 5 times removed so quite distant.

OK, thanks. BTW if your Morris line touches on Knottingley, that might also be of interest
