I have a postcard from Belgium, 1912 written in French and have so far only been able to work put the address and some phrases in the content. So I am needing to find someone who can decipher the text and let me know what is says. I can translate the french so a word-by-word account would be great. I have attached a picture so if you can decipher any of it let me know!!

That picture has not turned out very well so I will attach another! However there is a maximum download, so if you can help, can you send me a private message with your email and I send you the big version!!! Thanks!

Hi J-J
A little bigger if it helps. Can't help with the translation from French (Spanish is my thing!) but sure others will assist if they can :)

Hi Jemima_Jemima,
I sent the info from your postcard, to my French penfriend and although she found the card quite difficult to read, she has just emailed me with this interpretation of what she believes it says:
Monsieur Welle,
Par la présente, j’ai l’avantage de vous transmettre ?? quelques renseignements au sujet de « ciseaux de chêne » ;si vous trouvez encore pareille affaire ,veuillez m’en informer
et vous adresserai des échantillons dont je vous autoriserai de vous procurer à vos conditions ;ensuite ,nous pourrions nous contacter
Croyez , Monsieur , à mes sincères salutations
My penfriend added the following:
'It is about tools making in Japan and I think an exchange between a collector or art trader.'
My friend informed me that ciseaux de chêne means oak scissors, which apparently were made in Japan.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Winslass
