Hi, I'm looking for Barrett, Mary Jane b1870???, Kentish Town, London. She is married to Richard Barret, don't know when or where he was born. Can somebody help me with this please, as Richard dies and she re-marries in the 1911 Census.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi
What surname does Mary Jane have in 1911 please? This might help track her down a bit quicker.
I can see a marriage for a Richard BARRETT and a Mary Jane CORMACK Limehouse St Anne 1897.
There is also a marriage for a Mary Jane BARRETT father Richard BARRETT but her birthyear is about 1861.
Cheers

Thanks for the interest. Mary marries George Skipper in 1906. I have trached her from the 1911 Census. She is married to George and living with them is a son, Frank Samuel Bora Barrett. This is how I began chasing her. I don't know what her maiden name is, because there is also a Mary Jane Riches married to Richard Barrett. This is why I'm after the 1901 Census. Family history is so much fun, isn't it? ;D

Just had a re-read of the 1901 Census posted by Karenlee. The birthplace is right and it states that she was unmarried. This has really thrown a cat among the pigeons. Maybe her name was Barrett and she was never before George.

The only way to be totally sure would be to buy either Frank Samuel BARRETT's birth certificate or the marriage certificate for Mary Jane and George.
Cheers

Thanks for that. I will have to bite the bullet and buy the marriage certificate.

Thanks Jennifer, can you tell me where they where living on the 1923 Electoral Roll please. George Skipper, her husband died in 1923.
Thanks for that information. Frank is not a relly of my husband, as he was george's step-son, but George Parker was his natural son.
I must hurry now and puth this info into my family tree. Many thanks :-* :-* :-*

Frank Samuel Bora Barrett was born in Great Yarmouth and enumerated there in 1911, Aged 7. What took the family to Great Yarmouth?
