Hi All
I am planning on visiting Lincolnshire next month and hoping to find out where my Great Nan's family lived and hopefully where they are buried.
But the problem is i not sure where they are buried / cremated. Can someone point me in the right direction of where i can start looking / asking? The family lived in Horncastle area.....
Thank you

Names, burial dates (or at least the years) and last known address / town would probably help people here to guide you.

Hi
Thanks for answering my message.
The family i am researching is of Frank Armstrong & his wife Mary Ann Armstrong nee Kirkby.
Mary was born 1852c north cockerington lincs and i think she died in 1932 in the Horncastle district. Frank was born in 1852 Hagworthington and died jan 1/4 1934 in Corwen Merionethshire. There dau (my great nan) married a welsh man from Llangollen and i am assuming that Frank was visiting his dau Mary in Llangollen when he passed away but as he was a lincolnshire man i would assume he would have been buried back in Lincolnshire..... but maybe not???
When researching Mary (my great nan that married a welsh man) i have not come across Frank at all and the family have never mentioned him being buried in Llangollen agaion that's another assumption that he was buried back in Lincolnshire...
Any help will be great
Thanks
Jeannie

sorry Winceby seems to be the town that the family was living in on the 1891, 1901 and 1911 census.... Frank was a farm foreman...

Looking at the PR's for Winceby (www.lincstothepast.com) she was not buried there. It is probably worth getting the death certificate to see where they were at the time of her death (if the 1932 one is her).
She may have been buried with her parents, so that is also worth following up.

Horncastle Registration District covers quite an area
See http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/genuki/reg/districts/horncastle.html
The death cert will help you
