Found a relative Constance Mary DIXON her death is listed on The Ryerson Index 30th March 1965 as published Sydney Morning Herald 31st March 1965.
Did not expect to find her in Sydney and now would like to know where she is buried, or how do I find a script of this newspaper notice? Any person out there willing to put me on the right track?
Regards Mike.

The NSW BDM online index shows the death of a Constance Mary DIXON, was registered at Hornsby. The given names of her parents are recorded as Herbert and Elizabeth.
NSW BDM dcs are well detailed in three main sections. The details about the deceased person as given by the informant include parentage and marriage/s and children of the marriage/s. The informant’s name and then address is noted. The details of cause of death is certified by a medico. The details of the burial/cremation are detailed by the Funeral Director (includes where interred).
Transcriptions of NSW BDM certs are a cheaper and quicker option than the real deal cert, and contain all the information available on the cert.
Constance’s dc is referenced 21924.

Cheers, JM PS, I am sure there will be other RChatters who can check the SMH notice for you.

She was the dearly love wife of the late Frank Oliver Dixon, loved mother of Joan and Greg (killed RAAF) beloved sister of Agnes Willis and mother-in-law of Michael and fond grandmother of two. At rest

Cando. great that you found her death as her mother and father"s names all tie in with my information. Will try for DC. to confirm her resting place.
Rosball. I did know about Percy DIXON being buried at Kew and the Trove notices. Percy is with his first wife Helen nee Ekins ( sister of Constance) and a son Roy aged 1 ( his first born with Constance)
Your help, time and expertise is a wonder to me and I only hope I can return the favor to you all THANK YOU.................Regards Mike

Hi Aussie Mike, Are you following the Dixon Ekins line?
-
Hi Cavendish. hope you got my PM. and wondered if you could clear up confusion about Percy Dixon and his middle name, at times it is Jepps and then Jeffs in public notices in newspapers.
I wondered if you knew that a branch of the Ekins family went to Canada from England?
Regards Mike, hope to hear from you soon

Hello Aussie Mike,

Hi there Aussie Mike, not sure if you're still looking for info... Percy Jepps Dixon was my Maternal Great Grandfather. His middle name was definitely "Jepps". My Mum's Nanna, Constance Martha Dixon (nee Ekins) is buried in the Old Footscray Cemetery in Geelong Rd. We think that she shares a grave with my Mum's brother Ronald Bentley. I think it is an unmarked grave now. Many years ago my Grandfather used to put a cross on their grave but it was frequently taken down. I hope this is of some use.
Cheers.

Hi Clansfolk
Many thanks for the information on Constance Martha Dixon nee Ekins
I was tying up why the Dixon family who have always been around my wife's family were related.
It would seem Constance and her sister Helen both married Percy Dixon, and were Aunties to my wife's Grandmother Eileen Scott nee Ekins.
Regards Mike
