There are no places of birth mentioned on the 1841 census, so finding these people will be a little tricky!
Also, Neath is in Glamorgan and not Breconshire?
Do you have any other information?
Wives or husbands?
-
Do you have more information? Spouse or place of residence?
It is difficult when there are so many similar surnames in Wales
Do you know if they were living in the county they were born in? As 1841 only gives yes or no in answer to were they born in the county they are living in
Also ages on 1841 are (or should be) rounded down to the nearest 5 years-have you made allowance for this in the y.o.b. posted??

Neath is in Glamorgan and not Breconshire?
For registration purposes a great deal - if not the whole - of Glamorgan came under Breconshire, 100 years ago, at least.

???
Neath itself was part of the Neath Registration District.
Neath RD was in existence from 1837 to 1970, and consisted of 30 parishes in Glamorgan, and 3 parishes from Breconshire.
Merthyr Tydfil RD contained 2 (out of 9) parishes that were in Breconshire.
Pontardawe RD contained 2 (out of 7) parishes that were in Breconshire.
There are no other Breconshire parishes in the remaining 7 Registration Districts in Glamorganshire.

Hi all
As for Emma Thomas she was married to a Thomas Thomas and had a daughter called Anne in about 1813 in Swansea and all i know regarding David Jones is that he was married to a Margaret and had a son called Richard in about 1807, i found these two listings for David Jones and was just wondering if there may have been an 1841 census with this couple on it.
regards
