Looking for a baptism record for a Samuel Smith born 1816 in Pytchley.Hismother was Susannah (1841 census), but I have no father's name. Trying to find his father's name.
Also Samuel married Lydia in 1844(?) and am trying to get her maiden name.
Thanks
Katie

If he married in Northants in the December qtr of 1844 - freebmd shows a Lydia Knight on the same page
www.freebmd.org.uk
1841 shows him living in Pitchley and 1851 shows Pitchley as his birthplace
Somebody called Ian Stewart also seems to be researching this family as he has reported amendments to a couple of census entries
