Title: marriage Newark 1890
Post by: crazylibrarian on Thursday 11 October 12 16:04 BST (UK)
In order to continue with my family tree I need to establish my great great Grandmother's maiden name.
Bertha was married between October and December 1890 in Newark, Notts.  Her spouse was Henry Bradder from Mansfield born 1846.

Bertha was also born in Newark if this helps - 1872 in Muskham.  I have found the Bradder family on the 1901 Census listing Henry as being 55 years old and Bertha 29 years old.  They have 4 children; Arthur, Cecelia (my great grandmother) Kate and George.

Bertha's maiden name as so far been elusive.

Please can anyone help

Thank you in anticipation

Angela

Thank you so very much to Amber39 and sandymc - how prompt!  i do suscribe to one of the genealogy sites but they only show the free BMD's which don't appear to list the person's details ie who they married!  This also happens with deaths!  i suppose that info requires premium subscription!

genealogy is a very expensive pastime!

Thank you again - much appreciated!

I agree genealogy can become very expensive but then so can any hobby and we all need one of these.

Having said that, we on  Roots Chat  are here to try to help if we can anytime you are stuck.
