Hi All

Trying to find information on Nathaniel Moxon died Gainsborough 1947
aged 62 so born 1885 but only found born Prescot not sure if its right
had three daughters Patricia,Petronilla,Marie, and Neil son. Nathaniel
Moxon attend Brasenose Collage Oxford he was a Doctor in gainsborough
family mourners were Mrs N. Moxon(Wife) Mr N. Moxon (Son) Miss M. Moxon
(Daughter) Mrs P. Adlington (Daughter) The Rev Father E. Moxon (Brother)
this was taken from gainsborough paper
So this is all I have to go on
Looking for any information on  Nathaniel Moxon and family

theres a marriage in Prescot Apr qu 1912 to a Matilda A Collins
died 1 Sep 1947 at Carrow House 14  Morton Terrace Gainsborough

Thanks for information Nathaniel Moxon Widow was N. Moxon
so its states in the paper but could it be right or wrong?
there was over 400 at his funeral so was well known
if I could find marriage or family it would be great

And in 1911you will find that 26 yr old NM bn St Helens, has the correct profession!

The old way to address a widow was Mrs Nathaniel Moxon that could be why she is Mrs N Moxon

he was a well liked man over 400 at his funeral
and left over £16.000th  in his will has per newspaper
report think there could be more moxon in gainsborough
hope to find link to my mother (moxon)

Hi John,

Your Moxon in Prescot with a daughter named Patricia could be the right one.   Patricia R M Moxon married Sydney R Adlington in Gainsborough RD in the 3rd quarter of 1941 according to the BMD indexes - so hence the Mrs P Adlington (daughter) amongst the mourners.
