I've seen some old photographs of my grandfather, who served for REME following World War II, so would have been 1940's / 1950's, anyway, these photos show him playing baseball.
We've got tropheys at my dads house, which he won during his time with REME.
Apparently he was a very good pitcher, so the American's would select him to play on their team.
Is there anyway that I can find out more information? Like games he played in, photographs etc?

I was introduced to Soft ball (a form of base ball ) and volley ball in the British army of the 1960s. Does it say on the trophies they were awarded for baseball? Did he play in UK or Germany post ww2?

It was definitely baseball, as that's what the trophies say.
Not sure that he actually played for the UK as such. I'd have imagined that he played for his regiment, but was also asked to play for the US teams, as he was good at pitching.
