Patrick McCarty and Maria Manning married in Athenry ca 1830.

Are you looking for more information pre- 1830 or after?

Here are some pointers to research:

Griffiths Valuation (http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/galway/athenry.htm) (abt 1850s) shows no Mannings in the area but one McCarthy. This of course is much later than your family.
