Hello folk of Worcestershire !!!
I have just found out about a marriage @ St Andrew's Church, Cleeve Prior 05/01/1796 between Mary Wells & John Harris...my question relates to HOW & where can I see/find a copy of this marriage? I am hoping that the witnesses may help to confirm for me that this couple are indeed my GtGtGt's. !!
Thank you for looking at my post.

Hi Margaret,
The marriage appears on FreeREG http://www.freereg.org.uk/ The bride's parish is listed, however, the witnesses are not.
The best option would be to visit the new Hive at Worcester, aka the record office, http://www.thehiveworcester.org/ As then you could also look for siblings and other ancestors in one go, using the county indexes and then have access to all the films, wills etc.
Should that not be practical then the Latter Day Saints have Family History Centres all over the world. For a relatively small fee they will import the relevant microfilm for a period of time for you. See https://www.familysearch.org/locations
Another option would be to try and find someone to do a look up for you, or even hire a researcher.
Regards
Mike

Thank you Mike, for these helpful sites. As a non driver I cannot get over to Worcester sadly, but I will look into the possibility of the Mormon films etc. Failing that, I will just have to hope that someone out there might have this couple in their family tree.
Many thanks again, Mike.

Hi Margaret
If you go to the genuki website, it seems that there is someone willing to do lookups re Cleeve Prior in Parish Registers and other listed sources.
